Where in the world is Ralston, Vermont?
Ralston, Vermont, is a fictional island city located in Lake Champlain just west of Burlington conceived by author and project designer Erik Esckilsen. Ralston is both a setting for Esckilsen’s fictions and an educational platform for select Champlain College students engaged in the study of human communities.
The Ralston world-building project featured, among other media platforms, a gallery exhibition presented as the Ralston Historical Museum as reported in Seven Days and elsewhere.
Erik Esckilsen discussed the project in a radio interview with Jane Lindholm on Vermont Public.
